This weekend we spent a lot of time outside and had a lot of fun. We went turtle fishing and caught a ton of turtles. The turtles all gave me dirty looks though. :(
Okay so I have some more pictures that don't really fit into a category so I'm establishing a random category where I can put all the pictures that really don't have to do with anything but I still like. So here is the first random post.
So I started experiencing with taking pictures of people! It is quite fun; telling them to do this, to look up, look over your shoulder, smile slyly, etc. Okay, so its REALLLY fun! Hehe. My friend Katie was one of the people I started taking pictures of for fun and we had this idea for mothers day for her mom. We got her all dolled up one day and her sister came over and I took pictures of them and they put them in a collage frame and plan to give it to their mother on Mothers Day. Some are interesting and we only used a few of these. It was a lot of fun doing this and it was a nice idea for their mother.
Two weeks ago on...Wednesday was it...yes. Well anyway, we experienced a major trauma. What started as a VERY windy day molded into the beginning of a tragedy. Once we got out of school there was a news of a fire in Conway. Later we could even see smoke in the sky. The next morning I woke up and something smelled funny. I got out of bed and the smell increased only to find that I could barley see out of the window. I walked out of the house and ash was EVERYWHERE. It smelled awful and it got in our hair and clothes and everywhere. We went to school for about 30 minutes only to have it cancelled on account of smoke, yes we could see the smoke inside the school. Little North Myrtle Beach was the #1 story on Good Morning America. School was cancelled for the next day and the next week we had 2-hour delays for smoke. Around 70 houses were destroyed completely and over 100 were damaged. I think because of the rain we got....yesterday??....its finally out but I could be wrong. Please pray.
These were taken in my neiborhood and sugercoat the situation EXTREMELY.
It was WAY worse than this looks.....Which is saying something right?
I love photography. I love music and I'm in marching band at my high school. This blog is just going to be some of my favorite pictures I have taken and decide to share.
